Drive-in Movies
_____
The first double-feature drive-in movies I saw as a child.
Remember those big ugly speakers you had to put int the car window,
leaving it cracked just enough to let plenty of hungry mosquitos in?
My favorit movie as a kid --didn't know what "stop-motion" was and didn't care!
Cowboys vs. Dinosaurs --awesome!

In junior high school, I
was in the 76'ers Drum
& Bugle Corp.
This was a wondeful thing for a kid, compete with friends, be part of a
team, and see a little bit of the world ... from an
old
broken-down school bus.

Bumped into him at the pizza place outside Dirty Harry's in Key West

despite a lengthy black-out in the middle of the show.

in Boston, and he still gave me a friendly wave.

Surrounded by his entourage, asked if I was going to vote
for him in an upcoming NY election. My reply ... "Sorry Al, I'm from Boston"!
